I'm sure that you know the story of Cinderella - it is very famous. It is quite an interesting story too as there are lots of different versions. Many countries have their own tale of a kind girl who is ignored because she is poor or not very pretty - but by the end of the story she marries a prince or a king and have a happy life.

I enjoyed rewriting this little story and I love the way that the illustrator, Pauline Gregory has brought it to life and given it slightly more modern feel. My favourite illustration is of the Carriage that will take Cinderella to the ball. In the picture you can see that the mice haven't quite finished turning into horses.
